Marrakech Mediterranean Restaurant located at 3900 Paradise Road, Las Vegas, NV, 89169. is easy to find with ample parking. They do have a website and it is www.marrakechvegas.com
The restaurant has a beautiful romantic Moroccan tent like setting and it is the perfect spot to relax and chat on a date. They offer a fixed price, 6 course meal for $50 a person.
The meal started off on the right foot with a rose water hand wash, all courses are served with homemade Bread, and we found the bread to be delightful! The first course is a Mediterranean Shrimp Scampi Sauteed in Butter, Lemon, and Garlic. The shrimp arrived perfectly cooked. The sauce was delicious!
The second course is a Harira Soup and it is a traditional Moroccan soup made with lentils, rice, lemon and spices. We enjoyed the soup, nice and hearty.
The 3rd course arrived and it is a Marrakech Sampler which consists of hummus, Babba Ganush, flat bread, Moroccan olives and veggies for dipping. Everything was fresh and made very well!
The music volume got turned up and out came a very fit belly dancer who delivered! She made us 2 Big Boys smile!
We felt relaxed and very content sipping on our mint tea from time to time.
My favorite, the 4th course tender beef kabobs marinated to perfection!
The 5th course was very large a Chicken leg platter with Moroccan Couscous, with heaps of assorted vegetables including butternut squash and zucchini. Hey we enjoyed every bite of everything and we could not finish it, so that is saying something as we can sure eat!
Lastly,Their own version of the classic Moroccan pastry stuffed with bananas, nuts and chocolate. Topped with heaps of powdered sugar and cinnamon. Served with Moroccan mint tea. flaky and tasty yum! They called it B’astilla.
We would highly recommend anyone to eat here especially those looking for a great cuisine experience!
